The origins of Vencon Research International are found in a short research project more than ten years ago. VenCon Research International was then established as a separate entity in March 2000 following several years of successful collaboration between two precursor firms in the research and delivery of hard-to-get compensation metrics for the consulting industry. The founders' extensive contact network within the strategy consulting industry was the original catalyst for a research assignment, seeking to determine compensation levels across top management consulting firms within the UK. This quickly led to similar requests for French and German market studies, resulting in the collaboration between the UK and German entities that subsequently formed Vencon Research International. In response to client demand the geographic scope of the annual surveys progressively expanded beyond Western Europe. Many of our original clients were headquartered in the US, and it was particularly gratifying to be asked by them to extend our reach to include the USA, home to almost half of the world's management consulting market. |
